MAE SCOTT

From a very young age, I was interested in all things technology. I attended The College of Saint Rose, in Albany, NY. I graduated with my bachelor's degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education. Following the completion of my undergraduate studies, I went on to obtain my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Technology. Recently, I completed a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Web-Based Learning focusing on online pedagogy.

As a military spouse, I was lucky enough to teach in many different capacities around the country. My experiences include over 15 years in K-12 education. Throughout this time, I taught self-contained special education classes for students K-12, elementary general education, and technology to students PK-Adult. Currently, I am a high school Special Education teacher for a school district outside of St. Louis.

Additionally, I designed curriculum in several different capacities. For a few years, I helped write, train, and implement curriculum to help roll out a medical records software program in a county hospital and throughout their offices. I also have helped edit, write, and give suggestions to BrainPOP in the creation of one of their videos.

I have conducted over 100 hours of virtual and in-person Professional Development for technology conferences, Regional Educational Office Trainings, Google Camps, and more.
